Myranda Nasworthy

Digital Public Relations Analyst

Producer, New England Corporate Video

Video storytelling has a humanizing effect on corporate communication evoking empathy and adding emotion.”

Even Before Day One

It was a quick start at GCAi for Myranda Nasworthy. Well, her start was before she actually started. She was game to help the company test out a new video technology – vlogging cameras – so her interview was recorded at Starbucks. Myranda’s flexibility and willingness to experiment were captured in that video “interview,” and those attributes are clearly the foundation of her success as a video producer for GCAi.

A former associate producer of New England Public Medias Emmy nominated quiz show, “As Schools Match Wits,” Myranda interviewed celebrities including Keith Lockhart, Conductor of the Boston Pops, and Red Sox players Rob Refsnyder and Christian Arroyo

Booked Solid

Myranda works on two fronts at GCA. She is actively engaged in media relations and creating content for PR campaigns and also producing high-impact videos for direct-to-audience digital dissemination. One of her initial productions combined all her skills as she shot and edited videos (sample) for a media company that would be later shown at a corporate awards event.

“I think of video as being PR’s Swiss army knife, a multifaceted tool revolutionizing communication,” Myranda suggests. “Video storytelling has a humanizing effect on corporate communication evoking empathy and adding emotion. It allows brands to amplify their personality and intentions in a way no other medium can.”
